The Giant in You

Judges 6:11-12b
“And the angel of the Lord appeared unto him, and said unto him, The Lord is with thee, thou mighty man of valour. And Gideon said unto him, Oh my Lord, if the Lord be with us, why then is all this befallen us?…”

Gideon was busy complaining and been grumpy about the state of his country that he overlooked what was inside of him- the ability to be the change he was looking for. He was busy focusing on how little he was, how insignificant his family was in Israel, he underestimated his own abilities and what God can achieve through him. Later on in the story, he allowed God to work through him and he lead an army that brought great victory for his country.

No matter how everybody sees you, how you see yourself is very important. Don’t underestimate your abilities, don’t underestimate what you can achieve. You need to believe in yourself, believe that with God nothing shall be impossible. The grave, they say has the best pool of talents, for therein lies great potentials undiscovered.

What are you waiting for? If you can dream it, it’s possible. Every technological  development and every item we use today-  iPhones, Lcd televisions, blue ray DVDs, 3D movies, skyscrapers, washing machines, toasters, microwaves, laptops, cars, planes, books and bestsellers, etc etc. was once a thought in someone’s mind, then in the drawing paper, and down the lane becomes a completed project. Don’t underestimate your passions and your dreams, fuel it, ignite it and awake the giant in you for where there’s a will, there’s a way.

In response to today’s prompt:  Underestimate, Dream, Giant
