This song is a prayer, a desire for God to be our vision. For God to be all we see. For when we lose sight of God, we see glitters of sin beckoning our lust-filled hearts, we see the ostentatious gifts of life, we see ourselves with all our own plans and desires, we become selfish and self-centred. We may become bitter, unforgiving, proud, stubborn and foul-mouthed.
Problems become enlarged and solutions miles away. We may become hopeless, in despair and depressed, tearful and sad, blaming everybody and anybody. We may feel like the weight of the world is on our shoulders and we focus only on the things that are wrong in our life…
