Lonely walker,
All by yourself,
Awaiting your pair,
Waiting to be used,
By your owner-
The little meddler!
Who meddles with everything-
The kitchen cupboards,
The laundry basket,
The TV remote,
His brother’s lego,
Stickers and duvet,
Mummy’s phone,
Daddy’s reading glasses,
The files drawers,
Spoons, cups, milk cans…
Anything his little fingers,
Can touch or hold!
Oh little meddler!
You drive our wits,
To the wall at times!
But, we all love you,
Despite all your meddling.
