The Little Crumbs

when I ponder its meaning,
it reminds me about
little things often overlooked,
little details sometimes missed,
little pieces behind the big picture…

In search of the glorious years
We lose sight of the little months,
Maximise the little days
And the months will flourish,
In search of the golden days
We overlook the little minutes…

little words of hope, little smiles,
little pats on the back, little prayers,
little acts of kindness and selfless love;
little things that may seem inconsequential,
but do make a difference when put together…

as we pursue the big picture
may we not forget,…
The Little Crumbs in life.

I think sometimes we take things for granted and we lose sight of the bigger picture. Everyone is busy all the time that we forget to savor the moment we are in at that moment.

“Little smiles” What a lovely poem. The little smiles reminded me of Emily Dickenson “They might not need me but they might. I’ll let my head be just in sight. A smile as small as mine may be precisely their necessity.” thank you for your lovely poem that reminded me of another lovely poem.
