This week I fulfilled 2 of my target weight loss goals. To register in a gym and secondly to run the 5K distance on the treadmill. I have achieved it!!! Talk about dreams, desires and achieving your dreams. And I must say I was inspired by Urban Mile and her blogs.
It felt so so good; I was livid with excitement and it gave my weight loss program a buff. I decided to take a picture of my running data but in my excitement, my hands mistakenly hit the emergency stop when the distance remained 0.10km. I lost all my data- pace, calories burnt, etc. I felt a tad sad. That was my first ever 5K run. I wanted to treasure and preserve the moment with a picture.
Even though it was on a treadmill, I’m happy I tackled it and achieved it. But on a brighter note, I’m still registered in the gym so I know there will be lots of 5K runs, jogs and walks many days from now.
On that note, from the month of June I will be undertaking a project. It’s called the A to Z of fulfilling your dreams. This is just a fun way to highlight simple steps we can take to achieve anactualise our dynamic aspirations.
